september photo a day – day 4

day 4 – alone – this was taken in december of 2012, when i went to england to meet david in person (who is now my husband). this was on one of our little excursions driving around derbyshire, where he grew up. this little sheep was grazing all alone and there seemed to be no other sheep nearby when we spotted it.

day 2 – my name begins with…this is “lily-baa” the little lamb…she was a gift from my friend jen who lives in canada…she sent her to me when i had double knee replacement surgery 2 years ago. lily has gone through therapy with me, cheering me on when i had to learn how to walk again. she traveled all the way to england with me when i went there at Christmas of 2012 to meet in person the man who recently became my husband. she stayed with david when i had to reluctantly leave to return to florida. a couple of weeks later, lily and david came to florida because neither of them could live without me. we were happily reunited and now the three of us are a happy family 🙂

june photo a day – day 6

day 6 – transport – today in florida we’ve had heavy rain due to tropical storm andrea, making it pretty much impossible to get outside and try to get something creative. so i must give my husband credit for this – it was taken somewhere in the uk (where he lived until this year).

per my husband’s comments on this photo:
“That’s just below Stanedge Edge near Sheffield. I just happened to be out in the hills when I saw various different kinds of hang glider and microlights in use.

This one was taken by lying down under the wing and using an extremely wide angle lens. A few seconds later the guy decided the head wind was strong enough, ran down the hill, and leaped into successful flight.”
